The base game comes with two Campaigns that each have 20 levels, and difficulty settings easy-normal-hard. Getting 3 stars on easy mode is a piece of cake on the first Campaign, but the second Campaign has a few levels that require grinding to earn enough for upgrades that are a must if you're going for 3 stars per level that you'll need for 100% Achievements that, by the way, are fun and straight-forward, and can be gotten using just EZ mode. I spent time over several days to 3-star both Campaigns on all three difficulty settings. Optional DLC is available for extra Campaigns, but not required for the Achievements, and that's good.Beating all the levels required a balance of the different Tower types, since they all have their strengths and weaknesses against the different enemies. A few levels start you off grossly outnumbered and outgunned by the AI, but that made it more challenging and fun IMO.The negative reviews seem to come from more experienced TD players that may be used to the flashy 3D graphics that so many TD games have, but frankly, it was the uncluttered layout with Fort Defense that I found most appealing. The nautical theme is a nice switch, too. While 5 dollars/euros is a fair price, I picked it up on a recent 90% discount sale, and feel that I got way more than my money's worth in gameplay. TWO THUMBS UP !! Cheers. It's a phone port. It's bad. The game isn't fun, and it's trivial at best. It's Bloons with half as many options.. A great game to pass your casual time, cant complain for being too easy or repetative. Why? Well, i like casual games to be less of a challenge then nerve wrecking, hair pulling games....maybe that's just me, but being too easy or next to zero learning curve is perfect for my casual gaming time. Its not worth its money. To be honest, you can play a browser flash game and it would make more fun.. It's fun and quite easy, most of the times.Only real downside is the music - I had to turn it off, it's so repetitive.A few minor gripes:The logic behind the pathing isn't really explained - some levels have circles which some, but not all enemies take.When you beat the last wave of the last level (difficulty easy), there is nothing - not even "Hey, do finished the last level of this episode on easy!".A few more achievements would be nice, like an achievement for clearing an episode. As much as I like having all achievements, I feel there could have been a few more that take more effort.When you place a new tower, the position of the individual types isn't fixed, this is annoying - you can't always expect the crossbow to be at the top, for example. Fortunately, you can pause any time.Keyboard support would be nice - something like SPACE for pause/continue.I like the in-level upgrade system of the defense towers - previous upgrades are counted towards the cost of the next upgrade, so you don't lose money by upgrading incrementally.. I prefer Kingdom Rush, not this one.?/10 Lack of sincerity.. A generic tower defense game which just suffice as time waster if you're itching for one.Not so good and it is not really that bad either.. Towery fun!.
